It’s Friday and that means that we have had a full fun week on Kelley and Cassandra LIVE! We had some great guest join us this week and the conversations brought both tears and laughter. On Monday we had singer/songwriter and activist Tammy Trent join us in the studio. She told the heart wrenching story of how she lost her husband in a tragic SCUBA diving accident. We had a caller, call in to talk to Tammy and thank her for her perseverance as she too was going through a tough time battling a brain tumor. I tell you there wasn’t a dry eye in the place that day. The mood shifted though, after Tammy gave some encouraging words and then even broke out into a rap! Cassandra thought she would try her skills at rapping, and added her own rap flavor to Tammy’s song. The studio erupted with laughter!
Later in the week we had “what women want to talk about and men want to hear” when we discussed 2nd Thursdays Lou Cariffe with Board President, St. Charles Riverfront Arts.
Second Thursday’s is now through October from 5:30pm until 9:30pm at The Foundry Art Center, North End of Main St., Saint Charles, Missouri, it is sure to be a hit with vendors, arts and crafts and food!
We also had Clinical Therapist and author Dr. Gregory Jantz on to discuss what women can do to handle anger and depression; and to top off a wonderful week Brittany Zehr and Chef Tony Marcchetto from Prasino’s restaurant brought us delicious food and appetizers. It just doesn’t get any better than this!
Kelley brought us five terrific Delicious Scoops, making sure to always give back to a charity or a foundation. Cassandra Shared all week on topics like getting over worry and how to say no!
