Life is Bitter Sweet… Like chocolate, it’s a mixture of sweet and bitter, light and dark, pleasure and pain. Chocolate! CHOC-O-LAT… Now that’s a heavenly word that conjures up describable memories of sensual moments, rich fantasies, deep dark secrets, and luxurious pleasures. Is there a man, woman or child who has not lusted after it, dreamed of it or found themselves devouring it?
Bitter Sweet moments begin the day we are born and each of those moments is filled with challenges and an incredible desire to survive. The journey through life can be delightfully sweet filled with the meltingly lovely taste of milk chocolate, or completely bitter raw cacao, unbearable to swallow, challenging us to turn the bitter into sweet.
Focus on your choices, have courage to keep moving forward and never stop dreaming of tomorrow. Life is a canvas waiting for us to paint our beautiful journey of memories – memories that create our portrait. A portrait that someday will be finished, framed, but never forgotten when you live deliciously in this bitter sweet world
Bitter sweet. I now have a new meaning for that word. My grandson was born on 9/7/11. He was born at 24 weeks. He wasn’t supposed to be in this world until Christmas. He died on 9/11 (that day now has new meaning). It was bitter sweet the day he was born and bitter sweet the 4 days he was with us.
